Nature Therapy Walk

Saturday, May 4, 2024

Join Jennifer for a relaxing 2.5 to 3 hour stroll through the forest at Van Landingham Glen. Through a series of invitations, you will have an opportunity to focus on being present in the moment, deepening your connection with nature and community, and enjoying the many gifts nature has to offer. 


All classes are open to the public. Classes marked with * are also eligible for credit towards our Certificate in Native Plant Studies. Check back regularly: more classes to come!


Native Tree and Shrub ID *

Wednesdays from 5pm to 8pm (4/17, 4/24 & 5/1/2024)

CNPS credit: 9 hours

Location: McMillan Greenhouse Classroom
Cost: $140 ($135 for Gardens Members)


Earth Month Tour of the Botanical Gardens

Thursday, April 25 from 12-1pm

Open to UNC Charlotte students, faculty, and staff

In partnership with the UNC Charlotte Office of Sustainability

Location: Van Landingham Glen

Cost: $30 per person, $25 for Gardens’ Members, $15 for UNC Charlotte faculty/staff, free for UNC Charlotte Students.

Location: Tuesday at McMillan Greenhouse Classroom, Saturday at Clarks Creek Nature Preserve

Plant Propagation *

Saturday, June 1 from 9am to 3:30pm

CNPS credit: 6 hours
