Volunteering

volunteers webIt takes many hands to see a garden grow.  If you would like to lend a hand or two, we would love to share with you the opportunities for volunteering at the  Botanical Gardens!

This begins with a volunteer orientation session – where you can learn more, ask questions, and get an overview of the following opportunities:

  • Work alongside a horticulturist in the gardens.
  • Sunday afternoon hosting – Welcome visitors into the greenhouse from 1-4 pm.
  • Plant Sales and Special Events – Join our staff for these special endeavors.  Many friends working together make for great events!

Please sign up for a volunteer orientation session at the McMillan Greenhouse (dates listed below) on our sign-up genius page. (one time registration required)
If you have any questions or difficulty signing up, please email Paula at pmgross@uncc.edu.

Upcoming Tuesday orientation sessions:

April 21, 10 am  – noon.

May 12, 1pm-3pm
